Mindy the Bird needs a home

Mork and Mindy, two beautiful Jenday Conures have changed hands a few times in their lives (one of the hazards of being a long-living pet!) but they definitely must have a lot of experience with love, because they are so kind and sociable. They enjoy hanging out and getting head scratches from their caregivers. They're real sweethearts! They did arrive at Best Friends with a lot of health problems, though. Mindy's all-seed diet left her with some serious liver issues. But she's feeling much better now that she's eating better. And Mork has leukemia. There's no cure for leukemia in parrots, but we are giving them both everything in the world to keep them comfortable and happy, and making sure that they always get to be together.
